Population Health covers the wide range of factors that can determine the health outcomes of individuals, groups and populations.

This course brings together a diverse range of subjects to give you a holistic understanding of the social, economic, medical and demographic factors that shape population health. You will develop the knowledge needed to determine systematic variations in the health of individuals and populations, and the skills and experience to apply this knowledge to practical solutions to improve health, wellbeing, and the delivery of health services. You will have access to state-of-the-art research and data science facilities, including the National Centre for Population Health and Wellbeing Research. During your studies, you will focus on one of three employability strands: Medical Science in Research, Medical Science in Practice (subject to eligibility), or Enterprise and Innovation.
