Dixie Swaden Dixie’s Success Story
Dixie’s journey began with us in August 2018. In 2019, Dixie moved to her very much loved area in the Foyer Department after working as a food and beverage assistant at our Setanta Restaurant. In 2021, Dixie received a promotion to Foyer Team Leader. Dixie’s Slieve Russell Journey
Dixie advanced once more in November 2022, this time to the position of Foyer Supervisor, where she thrived. With support she gained experience in leading a team and delivering excellent customer service. By the end of 2023, Dixie was ready to advance and start taking on management responsibilities and was promoted to Duty Manager, bringing new challenges which she was eager to focus on.

Your Proudest Moment?
Seeing the foyer team develop. I am all about progression within the team. I am so proud of them all! Even my own progression, having completed the Level 4 Accreditation in Leadership & Management Course recently at the Slieve Russell, this has equipped my managerial skills between on the job learning.
It is all about the People - The Slieve Russell Team are like a second family.
Definitely being a Duty Manager, this is so enjoyable as each and every day is different.
