Pick of 2026 Born Heifer Calves
Gill Red Angus purchased their first registered female 47 years ago in 1979. Over the years we have purchased and AI’d to the best bulls that we thought would move our program forward with every calf born. We have had a huge impact throughout the country in some of the best commercial ranches across the United States as we sell around 250 bulls anually. We feel our herd is ready to be opened up to the
seed stock world as a “Pick of the heifers”. We will have around 600 registered calves being born this spring, including embryo, AI, and natural born calves. We have never offered a “Pick” of our heifers before. Where else can you go to choose from a group this large and from a breeder who has been at it for 47 years! You can come sometime over the summer and see the calves on grass with their mothers to narrow your decision down. We will wean the calves in late October, take their DNA and once the DNA is back, you can then make your final choice on the heifer. This is a great opportunity for a beginner or a long time breeder. If you truly want to take your program to the next level, this is the choice you need to seriously look at! Some of the AI sires we used last year include PIE Cadillac, ALC Remedy, HRP Jumpstart (Bieber Jumpstart by CBAR Abigrace 636D, the high selling bull at Hansine in 2025 at $40,000), Andras Masterclass (2025 high selling bull at Andras Stock Farm at $38,000 who is a Thomas Jefferson 55602 grandson), WSM Playmaker (PIE Quarterback by Bieber Primrose), Feddes Eastwood 3284, and the embryo sires include 9 Mile Franchise 6305, PIE Cadillac, Bieber Jumpstart, Berwald Outright221L (The deceased $85,000 Complete son X Berwald Abigrace 1110J) & LMG Gills Franchise 4030. We also have cow lines that have made our program a success for the last 47 years. Cow lines such as Sara, Dynette,
Roxie, Brandy, and MTX. This is an exciting time in the industry and you can’t get much more exciting than your choice of around 300 heifer calves!!!
