MADD Spotlight : 2021 State Patrol DRE School
On June 4, 2021, fifteen students graduated the Drug Recognition Evaluation school. The fifteen students were from 11 different agencies. The DRE school consists of 9-days in the classroom learning about how to detect someone under the influence of the 7 drug categories. All fifteen students passed the classroom portion. Next, they will be traveling to Philadelphia where they will be getting Certified as DRE’s on real individuals. These trips will take place in July and August. Once these are complete, they will be recognized by the IACP as Drug Recognition Evaluators.
