Fibre Box Association Board Announces 2025-26 Officers
UW-Stout Tours Green Bay Packaging Plant
The Fibre Box Association (FBA) announced that its Board of Directors re-elected Tim Bergwall, Senior Vice Presi- dent and Chief Commercial Officer at Greif, as the associ- ation’s 2025-26 chairman during their meeting held May 4 in Naples, Florida. Additional officer elections include first vice chairman Mike Riegsecker, Menasha; second vice chairman Jack Fiterman, Liberty Diversified; immediate past chairman Bryan Hollenbach, Green Bay Packaging Inc.; staff presi- dent Bob McIlvaine; executive vice president Cory Martin; and senior vice president Rachel Kenyon. New or re-elected board members approved by vote of all members include Greg Arvanigian, Arvco Containers; Alan Clark, Hood Container Corporation; Bruce Freder- ick, Georgia Pacific; Lisa Hirsh, Accurate Box; Ray Shirley, Packaging Corporation of America; Dale Sommer, Buck- eye Corrugated, Inc.; Don Sparaco, Smurfit Westrock; and Keith Townsend, International Paper who will each serve a three-year term from 2025-2028. FBA recognized and thanked directors whose terms ended this year, including Charles Malo, Cascades; Kim Nelson, Royal Containers, Ltd.; and Steven Rose, DS Smith NAPP. FBA is grateful for their time and dedication to its Board of Directors.
Green Bay, Wisconsin based Green Bay Packaging an- nounced that its Green Bay Mill Division and flagship box plant, Green Bay Shipping Container, recently hosted over 35 enthusiastic packaging students from the University of Wisconsin-Stout Packaging Program for an exclusive tour of their state-of-the-art paper mill and converting facility.
“This event provided students with the opportunity to connect with GBP alumni from the University of Wiscon- sin-Stout,” the company said on LinkedIn. “These experi- enced professionals shared valuable insights and advice on navigating career paths in the packaging industry, help- ing to empower the next generation of leaders in this dy- namic field.”
