Their success is based on a well thought- out and intelligent business model, a highly motivated team and the unconditional will to initiate and implement new ideas. As pioneers and role models, they have more than earned their Best Managed Companies award,” ex- plains Markus Seiz, Director at Deloitte Private and head of the Best Managed Companies program The basic requirements for qualifying for the Best Managed Companies Award are a minimum annual turn- over of €150m and the company’s headquarters in Ger- many. In addition, the companies must be medium-sized or family-owned and have demonstrated successful eco- nomic development in recent years.
