FMB ROUND-UP

Your FMB membership shows clients you carry out work to exceptionally high standards. However, to access certain Government-funded initiatives and work delivered under its Quality Scheme, you will need to register your company with TrustMark. That’s why the FMB is a TrustMark scheme provider. TrustMark – a not-for-profit – is the only UK Government-Endorsed Quality Scheme for work carried out in or around consumers’ homes. Like the FMB, TrustMark registration encourages businesses to drive up industry standards while improving the protection offered to homeowners when having work done. The FMB works with TrustMark- registered FMB members to ensure they commit to and maintain the required standards of technical competence, trading practices and customer service. If you want to demonstrate your commitment to high standards of work and customer service, apply to join TrustMark through the FMB. Once you have passed all of the FMB's checks to show you are a quality builder, you will need to take a few additional steps to add TrustMark registration to your FMB membership. These include: ● complying with the TrustMark Code of Conduct and the TrustMark Customer Charter; and ● providing a suitable financial protection policy to your customer with every job you do – policies are available through FMB Insurance. Why work with TrustMark? Just like the FMB, TrustMark has a strong commitment to quality Why you should register with TrustMark
