News from regional AGMs

Michael Quickfall stepped down as an area board representative on the FMB National Board after serving for more than 20 years on the board. Chris said of Michael: “Mick was instrumental in getting me involved in the FMB through the Grimsby Branch more than 30 years ago. I am sad he is stepping down as his insights and contributions to support the work of the FMB will be hugely missed. Thank you for all your hard work, Mick.” Aidan Cropper of Ipsum (UK) Ltd was nominated as Yorkshire and Trent’s representative on the FMB National Board, replacing Michael.

All three regions in the North held AGMs in June. North Director Caroline Meehan extended her thanks to FMB National President, Chris Carr, who chaired the Northern Counties and North West AGMs. Chris Carr was re-elected to the Yorkshire & Trent Area Board, enabling him to remain National President of the FMB. Robin Atherton was also re-elected as Yorkshire & Trent’s Regional President. Carla Prickett from CITB was voted onto the board as a co-opted Member and is hoping to engage more with FMB members in the area.
