RC: My dream project would be to create unique housing using modern methods of construction. DW: We run a lot of jobs at the same time, sometimes up to 30, so my dream would be that they were all on the same road – as traversing London traffic can be hell at times. 5 If you weren’t a builder what would you do? RC: I’d be a lawyer or maybe have gone into politics DW: A rock star! I quite fancy the occasional gig, a huge bank balance and properties around the world. But we can’t have it all – although I’m available for auditions!

morale throughout the day. DW: Apart from coffee, I’d have to say a tape measure. Everything comes down to getting the right stuff on site and making sure it’s measured out properly. That’s where it all begins and if you get it wrong everything else follows. As any tradesman will tell you: measure twice, cut once! 2 What’s your go-to radio station in the van or on site? RC: Fix Radio – all day long. DW: I’m constantly changing it up. I currently listen to Radio X but I love rock and indie. It depends who I’m working with. The younger generation often tries to convert me to recent tunes. It’s always amusing when I know more than they do about the music they are trying to impress me with. I saw Stormzy and Dave at the O2 recently, and have Kings
