Alex chose Sumner because of their rigorous program, believing they would provide the necessary preparation to become a good nurse. He enjoyed working with nurses who had graduated from Sumner, as well as, the support given to students and the flexibility offered to accommodate diverse needs and schedules. Since graduating, Alex has been enjoying a fast-paced new grad life in the Cardiac ICU at Adventist Health. Learning every day from both other nurses and patients, Alex truly feels like he is living his dream career.
