SEAHOUSES Birds, boats, beer and batter Seahouses is a lively working port that manages to offer the feel of a classic British seaside resort and is also home to our second office. Fishing boats leave the colourful harbour for lobster and crab, and the village is also the gateway to the Farne Islands. As well as being the most exciting seabird colony in England, with over 23 species, it is also home to a large Grey Seal colony which in autumn welcomes over 1000 pups. With many restaurants, pub and takeaways you will not be stuck for choice. It makes an ideal family base and many of our properties benefit from membership of the Ocean Leisure Club with a pool, spa and gym. There is an 18-hole course with a fearsome 10th hole, a par 3 over the liquid fairway of an old quarry.
40 Years of memories “Taking a boat trip to the Farne Islands. We went to Inner Farne as you can land and got really close to all the terns and puffins. Plus we saw lots of seals.” “Seahouses has everything we needed. Fantastic beach, great pubs and castles all along the coastline.” “We enjoyed crabbing from the harbour and watching all the boat coming in and out of the harbour.”
