The Club Richelieu de Rockland was recently replaced by the Club Champlain de Rockland, during a supper event on September 9. According to the president, Jean-Jacques Legault, the change will not affect the club’s overall mission, which hasn’t changed. Pat Lesieur et d’autres membres du Service des incendies de Clarence- Rockland étaient en affectation spéciale le vendredi 6 septembre à Bourget. En effet, ils récoltaient des fonds pour soutenir la recherche sur la dystrophie musculaire et les programmes d›aide aux victimes de la maladie. À cette fin, ils avaient érigé un barrage routier et invitaient les automobilistes à remettre de l’argent. —photo Gregg Chamberlain
