This article will focus on the main features of Google Jam- board and showcase some ways that educators can implement this tool during their school day. WHAT IS GOOGLE JAMBOARD? In the world of Google, Jamboard is 2 items. First, is the actual hardware, the Google Jamboard (https://workspace. google.com/products/jamboard/). This is described by Google on their Jamboard website as “ a collaborative, digital white- board that makes it easy for your team to share ideas in real- time and create without boundaries”. The second item is the Google Jamboard program/app. This is a free, digital, interactive whiteboard program that can be used on your computer, Chromebook, iPad or android device. This program can be used as a live/synchronous col- laboration tool, and you can have up to 50 users on a “jam” at once. You can also share your “jam” with students, and they can work on it asynchronously. All “jams” are saved in Google Drive.
