b. Manipulatives: (See image 10) Teachers can use the images from the math program that they are using and create movable images of the base 1, base 10 and base 100”s to use during lessons. If you cannot access those manipulatives, you can also create them using the shapes feature in Google Drawing. For students that benefit from using the manipulatives during classwork during remote days or for when completing asynchronous work, students can use these digital manipulatives. For these activities, I will use the “duplicate” feature and create approximately 5-10 of each image and have them “sit” on top of each other. I also created a box for students to use as their “show their work” area. 4. Science a. The water cycle: (See image 11a and 11b water cycle) Within the Boardmaker Community website (https:// goboardmaker.com/pages/boardmaker-community), you can find pre-made Boardmaker activities to use with your students. In this example, we used a pre- made template on the water cycle. For the first option, the text was created using sticky notes and students can move them into the correct spot. You can also insert text to have the students manipulate or have them type the text directly into the “jam”. I further differentiated the activity by including images for the answers. b. Cell diagram: teachers can use their plant cell or animal cell diagrams and insert the image as a background. Next students can use the insert text option to label the diagram. You can also create the text boxes for the student, and they can drag and drop to the appropriate location.

3. Math: in addition to using this as a lesson board during math to write equations for all students to see, students can also use this tool for interactive, small group or individual math activities. a. Dice Math: (See image 9) using clipart from the Lesson Pix website, I inserted dice onto the “jam” and the stu- dents use this to complete simple addition and subtrac- tion equations.
