What is the SRS-2 The SRS-2 (Smart Room Sensor 2) is a device designed to allow most of the settings affected by the Deco Frame to function as if it were not present. SRS-2 Features
• Night Mode • Sleep After • IR Sensing
• Ambient Brightness level in TV mode • Automatic RF Remote Repair
Included Parts:
6’ USB Power Cable and Wall Adapter
6’ Ex-Link Cable
SRS-2 Unit
Before installing the SRS-2, ensure the Night Mode and Sleep After settings are disabled within the TV’s Art Settings. 1. The SRS-2 connects to the back of the One Connect Box via an included Ex-Link Cable. 2. Next, the SRS-2 must be connected to its power source via the black power cable included with the SRS-2. Note - the USB power cable cannot be connected to the One Connect Box as the SRS-2 would lose power whenever the One Connect Box shuts off. 3. Once the SRS-2 is plugged into an active power source, the system light will flash blue while the unit initializes. Once the blue flashing ceases, the SRS-2 will begin operating with the current settings.

SRS-2 with the 32” Frame TV
On the 32" model, the Ex-Link connection is on the back of the TV rather than on the One Connect Box. Note that Samsung did not include a motion sensor for the 32” models until 2022. Therefore, the SRS-2 will not provide motion sensing for the 32” model size for the 2017 through 2021 model years.
Accessing the Web Interface
SRS-2 Settings Screen
The SRS-2 has a companion webpage for manually adjusting the unit’s settings. This web page is accessed via WiFi by joining a local network for the device. This webpage controls: • Night Mode • Sleep After • IR • Dynamic Brightness
Access the web interface:
• Using your smartphone or laptop, log into the wifi network " DECO-FRAME_xxxxxxxxxxx " • Enter password 1234567890 • This will cause a web page to automatically pull up on your device where you can control the settings for the SRS-2

Night Mode Setting
NIGHT MODE for art mode
Enabling Night Mode within the web interface allows the SRS-2 to turn the TV off automatically at night when the ambient light in the room drops to a low level. The Night Mode setting is controlled by an internal setting known as the Dark Threshold. The Dark Threshold determines what level of light in the room is required for the Night Mode setting to respond.

The Dark Threshold setting determines the light level at which Night Mode activates and causes the screen to go black. The lower the setting, the darker the room must be before the Night Mode setting will activate. The Dark Threshold setting of 1 will activate Night Mode when the room is completely dark. If the Dark Threshold is set to 5, the lighting will not have to be very low for Night Mode to activate Dark Threshold DARK TRESHOLD

The Sleep After setting controls the Motion Detection Feature. Sleep After Setting
SLEEP AFTER for art mode

Enable this feature to automatically put the TV to sleep after a set time when no motion is detected. The art display will resume when motion is once again detected. Note: This setting applies only to Art Mode and is turned off by default in the SRS-2 firmware.
The “IR Sensor Enabled” setting should be on when using a third-party infrared remote (IR) to control the TV, such as from a cable or satellite provider. IR Sensor IR SENSOR ANABLED When enabled, Brightness Optimization adjusts the TV screen's brightness in TV Mode to match the room's ambient light. The Minimum Brightness can be set between 0 and 50. This setting only affects TV Mode and does not control brightness in Art Mode. Brightness Optimization BRIGHTNESS OPTIMIZATION for TV mode Brightness Optimization Note: Due to Samsung's internal settings, the SRS-2 cannot adjust brightness in Art Mode. To manually adjust brightness in Art Mode, follow these steps: • While in Art Mode, press the center select button on the remote • Select "Picture Settings“ from the options • Adjust the brightness to your desired level • This helps the TV adapt to the new brightness after the Deco TV Frame is installed Follow these steps to test the “Night Mode” functionality: 1. Ensure “Night Mode” is enabled and “Sleep After” is disabled in the web interface. 2. Cover the unit with a box, bowl, or something else that will restrict all light from reaching the SRS-2. 3. Wait 60-90 seconds. The screen should turn black. 4. Remove the cover and ensure the artwork reappears when exposed to light. 5. If the artwork doesn’t turn off or back on during the test, contact customer service for support. Testing Night Mode
Night Mode Notes The SRS-2 system LED will blink purple when the artwork has been shut off by “Night Mode.” No amount of motion will bring the artwork back on once “Night Mode” has been activated.
If “Night Mode” shuts off the artwork unnecessarily or doesn't turn it off when needed, try adjusting the Dark Threshold setting. A lower setting requires the room to be darker for the artwork to shut off.
Testing Sleep After
To ensure Sleep After is working correctly, follow these steps: 1. Make sure Night Mode is disabled and Sleep After is set to 5 minutes in the SRS-2 web interface. 2. Cover the unit with a metal pot or pan (a non-metal object will not work) to block all motion while in Art Mode. 3. After 5 minutes of no motion, the artwork should turn off, displaying a black screen. 4. Remove the cover to ensure the artwork comes back on when motion is detected. 5. If the artwork does not turn off after 5 minutes or fails to come back on, contact customer service for further assistance.
Sleep After Notes The Sleep After setting controls the TV's motion detection features while in Art Mode, so it is important to make sure that the setting is active within the SRS-2 web interface if you want motion detection as a feature.
If your artwork stays off and doesn't respond to motion, check the SRS-2 system LED. If it's flashing purple or magenta, Night Mode has turned off the artwork, and ONLY an increase in light will turn it back on.
As with most electronics, if everything is working correctly, we recommend NOT updating your firmware. ONLY update the SRS-2 firmware if its functions aren't working properly. Updating SRS-2 Firmware

Closing Notes
The message "OSD Disabled" on your TV screen is a normal message that appears when the SRS-2 is first installed or reset. However, if the message persists, it may indicate a loose power connection. We recommend disabling automatic TV updates unless you're experiencing issues, as Samsung’s firmware updates can affect the SRS-2’s communication.
