The “IR Sensor Enabled” setting should be on when using a third-party infrared remote (IR) to control the TV, such as from a cable or satellite provider. This setting only affects TV Mode and does not control brightness in Art Mode. Brightness Optimization BRIGHTNESS OPTIMIZATION for TV mode Brightness Optimization Note: Due to Samsung's internal settings, the SRS-2 cannot adjust brightness in Art Mode. To manually adjust brightness in Art Mode, follow these steps: • While in Art Mode, press the center select button on the remote • Select "Picture Settings“ from the options • Adjust the brightness to your desired level • This helps the TV adapt to the new brightness after the Deco TV Frame is installed Follow these steps to test the “Night Mode” functionality: 1. Ensure “Night Mode” is enabled and “Sleep After” is disabled in the web interface. 2. Cover the unit with a box, bowl, or something else that will restrict all light from reaching the SRS-2. 3. Wait 60-90 seconds. The screen should turn black. 4. Remove the cover and ensure the artwork reappears when exposed to light. 5. If the artwork doesn’t turn off or back on during the test, contact customer service for support. Testing Night Mode
