HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE DISPOSAL The City of Sunrise, the City of Plantation and Wheelabrator Davie have partnered to provide residents with opportunities to dispose of household hazardous waste (HHW) and electronics. These drop-off events are open exclusively to residents of Sunrise and Plantation free of charge and with proof of residency. For a complete list of accepted items – as well as monthly HHW drop-off dates at the Wheelabrator facility in Davie – visit sunrise fl .gov/hhw. For additional information, call (954) 577-1135.
