Calling all teens who are ready to dive into a world of music, magic, and adventure! This musical theatre class for ages 12–16, will empower students to bring the beloved characters of The Little Mermaid JR. to life through acting, singing, and dancing. From Ariel’s longing for the surface world to Ursula’s devious schemes, this production is packed with iconic songs, dynamic roles, and plenty of stage time for everyone. No experience is necessary; however, this class leads to a performance of “Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR.” for the public and students are expected to be committed and work at the highest level of professionalism. Spaces are limited—secure your spot and be part of this shell-abration! *No class on 9/22, 11/24, 12/22, 12/29, 1/19. A com - plete rehearsal schedule will be handed out once the rehearsal process gets underway. ** PLEASE NOTE: Rehearsal hours may be extended as needed. Students must be available for the performance on Saturday, January 31 and Sunday, February 1, as well as for mandatory dress/tech rehearsals the week prior to the show. Advanced performance ensemble theatre class will be intergenerational and by AUDITION ONLY . *Auditionees will be required to send in a vocal video prior to the in- person auditions held on August 10. “Fiddler on the Roof” is a heartwarming and poignant musical that follows Tevye, a poor Jewish dairyman in pre-revolutionary Russia, as he struggles to maintain his cultural traditions while his daughters challenge societal norms and pursue their own paths. Filled with iconic songs and rich characters, the show blends humor and heart to explore themes of family, faith, community and change. If cast in the show, performers will need to register for the class through the Sunrise Civic Center. **No class on 8/31. Additional rehearsal hours will be added as needed and students must attend the mandatory tech rehearsals the week prior to the performances. This is a unique opportunity for actors, singers, and dancers to showcase their talent, challenge themselves artistically, and bring this hauntingly beautiful story to life for diverse audiences. All roles open, fluency in both English and Spanish is a plus but not required. Don’t miss your chance to be part of a truly unforgettable and inclusive theatrical experience! Step into the shadows of the Paris Opera House in a groundbreaking bilingual production of “The Phantom of the Opera”! We are seeking passionate performers, ages 15-19, for this iconic musical—which will be presented in both English and Spanish, with two performances in each language. **Rehearsals will be held on Thursday evenings beginning September 25 as well as Sunday afternoons. Actors may not be called for every rehearsal; a complete schedule will be handed out once the rehearsal process gets underway. ***No class on 10/2, 11/27, 12/25, 12/28, 1/1, 1/18. Actors must be available for the performances on February 21 & 22 and the mandatory tech rehearsals the week prior to the performances.
