R enewable heating systems have become an important area for the building services industry. Understanding how to provide these sources, systems and applications is seen as key in meeting the future needs of both commercial and domestic heating. Expertise is vital to the success of renewables, and Pipelife offers a range of courses specifically designed to provide experienced heating, plumbing, installation and building professionals with a real understanding of the potential for renewable energy sources, installation and their application. Relevant, practical, industry-leading training courses are delivered at Pipelife’s state-of-the-art Academy in Cork or Dublin by fully qualified professionals in a relaxed, informal environment. The courses are free to attend and are led by members of the Technical Team, who possess a wealth of practical knowledge and installation practices. The programme includes a detailed tour of the Pipelife manufacturing facility, providing visitors with a first-hand experience of where Pipelife products are designed and manufactured. The courses are available to installers, service engineers, plumbers, merchants, architects, local authorities and BER assessors. Attendees will gain valuable insights into each heating technology, equipping them with top product knowledge and installation techniques, ensuring customer satisfaction. The

Underfloor heating: designed for domestic heating installers with underfloor heating experience or those seeking to learn about Pipelife underfloor heating systems. This comprises basic principles and system design considerations, full details of Pipelife systems details, installation, filling, pressure testing, commissioning and full details of the UFH control system operation – options, installation and set-up. CPD training for professionals: certified Continuous Personal Development (CPD) courses are provided at the Academy or off-site for architects, engineers, energy assessors and similar professionals. It offers insights into various technologies, current and new products and relevant areas of interest. Pipelife provides three CPD courses, offering installers, engineers, architects, local authorities and BER assessors in Ireland the chance to earn one CPD point. These courses focus on heat pump technology and the correct sizing for Pipelife heat emitters, enhancing professional development. Pipelife offers underfloor and heat pump technology courses in several
formats. Attendees can opt for in- person training with a Pipelife trainer at their workplace, or attend sessions at Pipelife’s training academies in Cork or Dublin.
