The Leadership Training Institute offers partici- pants a structured curriculum that not only im- parts critical leadership skills but also fosters a deep understanding of the nuances of advocacy work. Through hands-on training sessions, work- shops, and interactive resources, mentors are equipped with the tools and knowledge necessary to navigate the complexities of program develop- ment, grant-writing, and fundraising. By honing these key competencies, advocates gain the con- fidence and expertise needed to drive sustainable change and make a lasting impact within their communities. The Leadership Institute serves as a hub for culti- vating a new generation of leaders committed to advancing the rights of women of color. By focus- ing on skill areas such as community organizing, policy development, and building multicultural relationships, the institute empowers advocates to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, bridge cultural divides, and champion inclu- sive practices within their spheres of influence. Beyond skill-building, the Leadership Train- ing Institute aims to foster a culture of collab- oration, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing among women of color activists.
