The Wisconsin Women of Color Network

WOCN remains steadfast in its dedication to promoting independent, women of color-led initiatives that are uniquely positioned to ca- ter to the needs of diverse communities. The WOCN Resource Guide stands as a testament to this commitment, showcasing over 200 women of color activists and 60 culturally-spe- cific programs nationwide. Through Mentor Site Visits, WOCN offers on-site technical as- sistance to women of color-led programs, am- plifying their impact and reach within under- served communities. As trailblazers in advocacy and activism, WOCN has continually advocated for the ex- amination of policies at local, state, federal, and tribal levels, providing women of color with platforms to amplify their voices and effect tangible change. From hosting focus groups to address critical issues like child welfare systems and domestic violence to convening national conferences focused on economic security for survivors, WOCN remains at the forefront of shaping the discourse on issues that profoundly affect women of color.
