Fuel Cells for Transportation C1868 3 Days | Classroom Seminar OVERVIEW This is a three-day course provides a review of fuel cells in automotive engineering applications, how they work, integrate and add value, how hydrogen is produced, stored and distributed. The course will provide the status of the technology from fundamentals through practical implementation. Day 1-An introduction and fundamentals of fuel cells, the thermodynamic principles, kinetics of electrode reactions, principles of electrocatalysis, and electrochemical methods of characterization. Day 2-Fuel cells stacks incorporating polymer electrolyte membranes, key design requirements affecting performance, cost and reliability, methods and costs of manufacturing. Day 3-Focus on the use of fuel cells in transportation systems, typical system architectures, performance requirements, critical parameters, specifications, and system controls.
