WellBeing-Week-2025-Belfast-One

SAVING A BEAT DEFIBRILLATOR COMING TO CHURCH LANE Belfast One is proud to announce the installation of a new public access defibrillator on Church Lane, co- funded in partnership with the Bullitt Hotel. The initiative, led by Bullitt’s General Manager Andrew Carson, aims to ensure that this life-saving device is readily accessible to anyone in the area in the event of a cardiac emergency. Located in one of the city centre’s busiest hospitality and nightlife zones, the defibrillator will serve workers, residents, and visitors alike, offering peace of mind and potentially saving lives. Its placement on Church Lane reflects a shared commitment to wellbeing, safety, and community support. As part of Belfast One’s Wellbeing Week, we are also hosting two free CPR workshops to empower local employees and the wider community with the skills and confidence to act in an emergency. These practical sessions

will teach participants how to perform CPR and how to use a defibrillator, helping build a stronger and more prepared city centre.

This initiative also reflects the active lifestyle encouraged by both Belfast One and Bullitt Hotel. Bullitt regularly supports We Run Belfast, a night-time city centre running club bringing energy and community

spirit to the streets after dark. Meanwhile, Belfast One hosts a weekday lunchtime Running Club for city centre workers looking to get moving during their breaks. Together, these efforts support a safer, healthier city for everyone who lives, works, and visits Belfast. To find out more about the CPR training courses, contact karen@belfastone.co.uk
