Emergency Power Supply (UPS) Section Summary Emergency power supply, or Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) for SDA dwellings only. 2 DGPOs (minimum) in kitchen: at least 1 DGPO shall be within 300mm forward reach from the front edge of the bench.

• Living ○

1 TV outlet.

2 DGPOs on wall in likely TV location. 1 data point on wall in likely TV location.

• Any automated doors along the path of egress; and • Lighting required to facilitate safe egress from dwelling.

• Dining ○

• Emergency power solution is to provide continuous power backup (no warm-up or lag-time) to ensure essential services are continually available. • Hardware for emergency power solutions are to be discretely located, but readily accessible for servicing requirements.

• Bathroom ○

1 DGPO adjacent to vanity.

○ Power pre-wiring (capped GPO) provided adjacent to toilet to allow future bidet installation.

• Laundry ○

2 DGPOs.

• Bedroom 1 ○

2 DGPOs on either side of bed location (1x DGPO with USB outlet each side). ○ 1 DGPO on wall opposite bed location. ○ 1 GPO to bedroom ceiling. ○ 1 TV outlet on wall opposite bed location. ○ 1 data point on wall opposite bed.

Note: All GPOs to be large format (min. width 35mm) and located at an accessible height as per NDIS SDA Design Standard.
