Fire hydrants Section Summary
Fire hydrant system will be provided for full building coverage both internally and externally. Fire hydrant and sprinkler booster assembly to be provided adjacent to main entry.

Fire hose reels Section Summary
Fire hose reels to be fed from the hydrant system and shall provide coverage to all building areas, as required. Hose lengths/ travel distances to comply with all relevant requirements.
D7.08
Fire extinguishers and blankets Section Summary
Portable fire extinguishers and blankets must be provided to all building ar- eas as required by the BCA and relevant Australian Standards. As per current requirements, fire blankets and evacuation diagrams are required in SDA projects and Social Housing Growth Fund (Victoria) projects
Fire detection system Section Summary
D7.09
An addressable smoke detection system comprising of a Fire Indicator Panel (FIP) and fire detectors to all building areas the FIP / EWIS will be located in a cupboard adjacent to main entry.
D7.10
Occupant Warning System Section Summary An occupant system shall be installed to all building areas to assist in the safe evacuation of residents during general fire alarm.
