Under his leadership, both the Pittsburgh and West Virginia markets have grown signifi - cantly to include more than 140 employees and nearly 40 leasing and sales professionals. “Mamadou is a proven lead- er with a deep understanding of our business, and he has quickly earned a stellar repu - tation at CBRE for his abil- ity to consistently drive posi- tive outcomes for clients and teams,” said Pete Schippits , advisory group president, East Region and Canada for CBRE. “His track record in Pittsburgh and West Virginia has been ex- ceptional, and I’m confident he will bring the same creativity and strategic vision to Greater Philadelphia.” Prior to CBRE, Baldé served program is built to sharpen practical skills and foster per - sonal growth through mean- ingful, real-world immersion in real estate. From Classroom to Career: Interns Experience the Full Spectrum of Real Estate This summer, Woodmont welcomed a group of interns from universities across the country – and even across the pond – each bringing unique perspectives and areas of study. Together, they participated in individualized programs, gain- ing hands-on experience across the many dimensions of the real estate business. For Dale ‘DJ’ Frank , a 2027 junior at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, pursu- ing a business major with a concentration in finance and strategy and a minor in real estate, learning and honing pro- fessional skills on both ends has helped him understand the im- portance of being well-rounded. “From a hard skills perspective, learning the fundamentals of multifamily modeling has been incredibly valuable,” said Frank. “On the soft skills side, I’ve really improved in ask - ing thoughtful questions and listening intently.” For Marley Weidhorn , a 2028 sophomore at the Uni- versity of St. Andrews in Scot- land, UK, studying Financial Economics and Management,
in leadership roles at Fulani Millwork, Inc. and ACTION- Housing and as a VP at Col- liers, where he advised corpo- rate clients on leasing strate- gies and market and financial analysis. Additionally, he is a graduate of Liberty University School of Law and previously practiced law at a regional firm in Pittsburgh. “I’m honored to lead our Greater Philadelphia team and continue building on the strong foundation they’ve es- tablished,” said Baldé. “Our priority is ensuring that every client will experience excep- tional service, trusted partner- ship, and measurable results. This market offers tremen - dous opportunity, and we are committed to helping our clients achieve their goals and create lasting impact across the region. I have strengthened my skills through adjusting to different environments, analyz- ing projects and communicating with the team while applying the things that I have learned in school to the real world.” MAREJ
