Keynote Speaker Shantanu Pai is currently a Senior Investment Officer at the International Finance Corporation, part of the World Bank Group. Prior to joining the World Bank Group, Shantanu worked for an alternative asset manager, where he focused on portfolio management and led the ESG practice for APAC. He also served with the State of Illinois, where he led the Circular and Resilient Systems Group at the Illinois Sustainable Technology Center. Shantanu holds a bachelor’s degree with a major in Soil and Waste Resources and minor in communications from UW-Stevens Point and master’s degrees in Urban Planning and Public Affairs from the University of Illinois-Chicago.
