Facilities • Situated in the heart of Indian Wells, Desert Horizons Country Club is a private and guard-gated club, offering a host of upscale resort amenities. • Residents enjoy the privileges of golf, casual and fine dining, breathtaking views from our dining room and the fitness/wellness center, card rooms, bocce, pickleball with 11 courts, 2 tennis courts and numerous swimming pools and spas. • In 2023-24, we added a total of 17,850 square feet to the clubhouse. Of that, 9,470 square feet was to enclose the old lounge patio for the event room and private dining room. The 2nd floor fitness facility added another 8,380 square feet with amenities like a variety of yoga styles, spin bikes, Titleist Performance Institute, assisted stretch recovery rooms, and four balance body reformers. • The property was once a lush date palm grove and stands of stately mature palm trees remain to this day. • Number of Homes: 510 homes • Numerous pools and spas throughout the Community • Home price range: $600,000 - $2,299,000 • Desert Horizons Women’s Club dues are $60/year (Optional for all Desert Horizons women Members.) • Community services include 24/7 public safety service, community social activities, and the community newsletter. • The development and home floor plans have been the recipient of awards including “Best Low-Density Residential Development in the West.” • All home purchases require social membership. • Approximately 30% of our homeowners are full-time residents. • There is a cap of 200 golf memberships. Clubhouse Dining Facilities
Tennis & Pickleball Courts • Proper tennis or pickleball attire must always be worn at all times. • No muscle or sleeveless shirts for men. • No swimsuits or sports bras, or clothing that may be inappropriate in a family environment, allowed. • Shirts must always be worn. • Shorts cannot expose the buttocks. • Court shoes allowed only. No black-soled shoes, flip flops/sandals, or high heels are allowed on the courts. Fitness Center Attire • Appropriate exercise attire is required. • No sheer clothing is permitted. • No swimsuits or clothing that may be inappropriate in a family environment allowed. • Shirts must be worn at all times. • Shirts must have a torso/midriff gap that is no greater than the width of your hand. • Shoes must be closed-toed and cover the entire foot. Shoes must be worn in the Fitness Center at all times. Crocs, slides, and sandals are not allowed. • Please be courteous to others by presenting proper, regular hygiene and limiting use of perfumed and deodorant sprays. Guest Policy Desert Horizons members are very proud of their Club and enjoy sharing it with their family and friends. Our goal is to provide an exceptional experience for Members and guests alike. All guests and family guests must be accompanied by a Member while using any club facility, unless they have arranged for a Guest Pass with Member Services in advance. Like most private clubs, Desert Horizons has rules and policies on how and when to host guests. Residents are held responsible for their guests. See the Reception Desk at the Clubhouse for Guest Passes. Each owner or resident is allowed to bring a maximum of 12 guests per day to the pool or facilities without restriction. Residents must notify the Association office at least two days in advance for guest groups larger than 12 people. The Association may limit the number of guests using the facilities on any one day, including private parties by residents, such as birthday parties, family gatherings, etc. Insurance may also be required. All guests should be advised regarding these rules and shall conduct themselves accordingly.
The Grille: •
Men – Appropriate attire includes collared shirts, t-shirts, slacks, golf shorts and appropriate denim. Men may not wear hats in any indoor dining areas. No tank tops or mesh tops, or bathing suits are permitted. • Ladies – Appropriate attire includes dresses, skirts, slacks, golf shorts, blouses, and appropriate denim. No bare midriff blouses or bathing suits permitted. Main Dining Room: • Men – Appropriate attire includes collared shirts, slacks, golf shorts, appropriate denim, and tennis attire (with warm-ups). Flip-flop style sandals are not permitted in any indoor or outdoor dining areas. Men may not wear hats in any indoor dining areas. • Ladies – Appropriate attire includes dresses, skirts, golf shorts, blouses, appropriate denim, and tennis attire (with tennis warm-ups). No flip-flop style sandals are permitted in any indoor or outdoor dining areas. Golf Course Dress Code Appropriate golfing attire must be worn at all times by players, including children, non-playing riders, and spectators when playing golf and/or utilizing the Golf Facilities (range, putting green, and chipping area). Golf Attire for Men • Shirts with sleeves and collars must be tucked in at all times. • Mock collars are permitted. • Golf performance hoodies. • Golf slacks, tailored trousers, or shorts may be worn; however, shorts MUST be no shorter than mid-thigh. • The following types of apparel are NOT permitted on the course: Tank tops, t-shirts, jeans/denim of any style and/or color, running, jogging, tennis, pickleball, swimming, or workout gear, sweatshirt hoodies, cargo-style pants or shorts. Golf Attire for Women • Racerback and sleeveless tops WITH a regular or mock collar are allowed. • Length of skirts, skorts, and shorts must be no shorter than mid-thigh. • Leggings are permitted only under a skirt, skort, or shorts. • The following types of apparel are NOT permitted on the course: Tank tops, t-shirts, jeans/denim of any style and/or color, running, jogging, tennis, pickleball, swimming or workout gear, cargo-style pants or shorts, sweatshirt hoodies or sweatpants, unhemmed shorts.

Clubhouse Main Dining Room Serving up panoramic views of the golf course and mountains, the Clubhouse Dining Room will become the gathering place for Members, as you dine al fresco with your friends and families. The Clubhouse Dining Room will offer your favorites from delicious hearty lunches, an array of fresh and healthy options, Southwestern delicacies, and exquisite fine dining. Choose from a handpicked selection of varietals from the new wine cellar to complete your meal. The Clubhouse will be host to distinctive dining experiences, from lively themed events to wine dinners and occasional live entertainment. Terrace Bar A great place to gather with friends and family for Happy Hour, to celebrate and cheer on your favorite sports team, or to simply chill and enjoy the ambiance. Sit at the 4-sided bar or enjoy lounging outside to revel in the view. The Grille Before your round of golf or pickleball game, enjoy a light breakfast. Or, after play, feast on sandwiches, burgers, and cocktails at this casual venue offering indoor and outdoor seating. Breakfast and lunch are served daily during season. With a view of the Bocce Ball Courts and the pond, The Grille is located at the Clubhouse lower level. Drive your golf cart up through the tunnel to enjoy spirits from a robust list of cocktails and craft beers. The Courts Pavilion Located at the tennis and pickleball courts complex, the Pavilion will offer refreshments and lite bites during court events. Relax in the shade as you watch from the platform in comfort with your favorite beverage. Dining & Events Reservations Dining reservations are available on the DesertHorizonsCC mobile app, the Member website, via email at diningreservations@deserthorizons.org, or by calling the Hostess at (760) 340-1167. Reservations for events open 30 days before the event. Please know that during the season, our events often sell out quickly, but we will always take an active Wait List for those interested. Pricing for events is listed on the promotional flyers and in this guide. Alcohol is not included unless specified. All dining reservations in the restaurants can be booked 30 days in advance online or
