S.O.S. SUPPORT OUR SCHOLARS DESERT HORIZONS EMPLOYEE SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Desert Horizons Homeowners Association, in partnership with the Desert Community Foundation, has established a scholarship program to assist employees or the children and grandchildren of employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational-technical school. It is always inspirational to hear what students plan to do with their lives. It is more gratifying if you can help them achieve their goals. It is especially rewarding when they are part of your Desert Horizons family. With increasing educational costs, it is important that, as members, we show our gratitude to the fabulous staff who help us every day. We can create an opportunity for their families to go out and make a difference. Since 2013, members have contributed to our Employee Scholarship Fund to help the staff or their family members enroll and succeed in higher education opportunities. This year we expect we will be helping about 15 students enrolled in colleges throughout the country, including California Polytechnic San Luis Obispo, University of Redlands, UC Berkeley, UC Irvine, Berklee College of Music, and College of the Desert. They are very appreciative of the assistance you have provided.
