SPICY SRIRACHA TOFU
Cassi Parnell | Night Auditor | Murfreesboro Embassy Suites
Whenever I travel, one of my favorite foods to eat in my hotel room is Chinese takeout. As a vegetarian, I love finding new twists on tofu dishes at Chinese restaurants wherever I go. This is a variation I taught myself that is easy to make at home, without even needing to pre-heat your air fryer!
Ingredients
1 lb Extra firm Tofu 2 tbsp Soy Sauce 2 tbsp Honey 2 tbsp Sriracha Sauce
1 tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar 1 tbsp Toasted Sesame Oil 1.5 tbsp Minced Garlic
Instructions
1.Remove tofu from packaging and press to remove excess liquid. 2.Chop tofu into bite-sized pieces. 3.Add soy sauce, honey, sriracha sauce, rice wine vinegar, toasted sesame oil, and minced garlic to a bowl. Stir to combine. 4.Add tofu slices to the bowl with the other ingredients and toss to ensure the tofu is evenly coated. 5.Cover and place in the refrigerator to marinate for 15 minutes. 6.Remove from the refrigerator and bake the contents of the bowl in an air fryer for 15 minutes at 375°F. 7.Serve immediately.
