CRIMSON BLUSH

I wanted to create a cocktail featuring a local spirit, Deep Eddy Vodka. I enjoy Deep Eddy Grapefruit but I wanted to experiment with Deep Eddy Orange. Crimson Blush reminds of summertime and old school Boone's Farm Strawberry Hill Wine that my family would have at gatherings when I was younger.

Ingredients

2 oz Deep Eddy Orange 1 oz Peach Schnapps 1 oz Lemon Juice .5 oz Strawberry Puree 3 large Strawberries

3 Lemon Wedges 1 Orange tTwist

Instructions

1.Slice 2 strawberries in half, remove caps, add to shaker tin along with 3 lemon

wedges and strawberry puree. Muddle.

2.Add vodka, peach schnapps, and lemon juice to the tin and shake with ice for

30 seconds.

3.Strain into a frozen martini glass.

4.Garnish with a slice of strawberry and an orange twist.
