When I am trying to beat the heat from the hill country sun, I love to make refreshing, delicious, thirst-quenching cocktails while tubing in the San Marcos River.
Ingredients
1.5 oz Hendricks Gin .75 oz Blueberry Syrup 2 Cucumber Slices (to muddle) .75 oz Lime Juice Splash of Soda water 3 strips of Cucumber shaved with a peeler for garnish
Instructions
1.In a shaker tin, add gin, lime juice, blueberry syrup, and cucumber slices.
2.Muddle the cucumber.
3.Shake with ice for 15 seconds.
4.Double strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass.
5.Top with soda water.
6.Garnish with shaved cucumber, rolled into circles and skewered.
