BUFFALO CHEERWINE CHILL

Jill Small | Restaurant Manager | Raleigh Embassy Suites I first discovered Cheerwine after moving to North Carolina from Canada in 2005, and let’s just say, it was love at first sip. Fast forward a decade away from the cocktail scene, and I found myself reintroduced to the magic of mixology and the cult following of Buffalo Trace. This frozen cocktail is a tribute to those who are passionate about Cheerwine and bourbon, designed to deliver all the chill without the blender noise. Think southern nostalgia meets smart bar ops.

Ingredients

6 oz Frozen Cheerwine Cubes 1.5 oz Buffalo Trace Bourbon 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice 1 oz Soda 1 Lemon Wedge

Instructions

1.Freeze Cheerwine in ice cube trays, then add frozen Cheerwine cubes

to the shaker.

2.Add Buffalo Trace and lemon juice.

3.Shake vigorously and/or crush with a muddler.

4.Top with a soda splash, garnish with a cherry, and serve.
