CITRUS EMBER

Hana Colvin | Director of Culinary Excellence | Corporate I had a version of this drink after a long travel day to our Springfield University Plaza property. A delay on the tarmac and a missed connection turned a quick six-hour trip into a twelve-hour saga. By the time I finally made it, I was running on fumes and airport pretzels. This combination of citrus and ginger was exactly what I needed, it was bright, spicy, and had enough zip to remind me I was still alive. A little conversation with a stranger about Monday Night Football helped too. Blood orange is like regular orange juice that decided to get a personality. Very citrusy and refreshing, but with a hint of berry and just enough attitude to make it interesting. Ginger really brings those flavors to life.
