Rider reported that although his mount had a tough run in early and middle stages, the gelding failed to respond to his riding and was disappointing. Post-race endoscopy detected a degree of internal exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage that may have affected the horse’s racing performance. Slow to begin. Held up for clear running from the 400m to the 300m and from the 200m and 150m. Disappointed for a run near the 75m and then did not obtain clear running thereafter and was not able to be tested. Caulfield 08/01/2022
