Registration will NOT be accepted by mail or fax. Make-Up Policy Missed lessons will only be made up if class is cancelled due to inclement weather (thunder, lightning, heavy rain). Aquatics staff determines cancellation 15 minutes prior to class start time. If a lesson is taught for a minimum of 20 minutes, it will not be rescheduled.

Ages 6+, Levels 1 to 6 Skills are checked at the first lesson to confirm that swimmers are in the appropriate level. • Level 1 - Introduction to Water Skills: Includes submerging entire head; gliding on front and back with support; combining arm and leg action on front and back with support. • Level 2 - Fundamental Aquatic Skills: Includes treading water; gliding independently; floating on front and back for five seconds independently; using combined arm and leg action on front and back for five body lengths independently. • Level 3 - Stroke Development: Includes swimming front crawl for 15 yards; treading in deep water for 30 seconds; and swimming elementary backstroke for 15 yards. • Level 4 - Stroke Improvement: Includes swimming front crawl and elementary backstroke for 25 yards; and swimming breaststroke, butterfly, sidestroke and backstroke for 15 yards.
