38. 1909-11 T206 Cycle 350 Miller Huggins (HOF - Portrait) - PSA EX-MT 6
Miller Huggins was a man with a keen batting eye and a scrappy attitude, who manned second base for 13 seasons in the majors before making his name and Hall- of Fame case as a manger with the Yankees, leading them to their earliest glories and helming their powerhouse 1927 team among many other highlights. This PSA 6 T206 portrait shows him with the Reds and sports some fanatastic color, with centering to the northeast on the canvas. The reverse is a desirable Cycle 350, a tougher back in the series. An extremely desirable card. MINIMUM BID: $300
39. 1909-11 T206 Cycle 350 Miller Huggins (HOF - Hands at Mouth) - PSA NM 7 Miller Huggins wasn’t yet a manager when T206 was issued, yet he seems to be aspiring to such a goal here in his “hands at mouth” pose. PSA 7 examples are not something regularly seen with the issue and as expected, this is a superb looking card, with bright color and depth, sharp corners, with just a hint of a tilt. A small printer’s mark can be seen in the middle of the top border. The reverse is a tough Cycle 350, making an already fabulous card even better. MINIMUM BID: $500
