Higher-grade example of John McGraw in his portrait “with cap” and wearing the team sweater that was the subject of several redone poses on the later series T206 cards. A bright crimson background behind, young McGraw in the fore, a classic looking card. The reverse of this one is a very pleasing Sweet Caporal 350- 460 Subjects Factory 30, also in glorious crimson, looking quite bold. MINIMUM BID: $500
One of handful of notable subjects with more than three poses in T206, John McGraw’s “finger in air” card seen here in a PSA 6 holder, shows him ostensibly coaching third and indicating one out to an imaginary baserunner. Centered a bit to the upper right, it’s retained fabulous color and brightness over the years, with lightly-touched corners and a clean, well- defined image. The reverse is a Sweet Caporal 350 Factory 30 variety. MINIMUM BID: $400

Joe Tinker is, of course, famous for his exploits feeding Johnny Evers a ground ball at second, nabbing the lead runner and then the batter when the sphere ended up in Frank Chance’s outstretched glove. His T206 “Bat off Shoulder” pose takes the stage here though, on a very strong midgrade specimen. The reverse is clean, with a sweet Caporal 350 Factory 30 brand. Fabulous looking example of this popular Hall of Famer. MINIMUM BID: $300
In the “ready” position that many people must have thought he was born into back in his days at shortstop, Joe Tinker’s “hands on knees” pose is a study in concentration. This T206 has been graded EX 5 by SGC, with wonderful color and a pleasing pastel palette. The upper left corner has taken a slight hit over the years but isn’t far off from the other three. The Sweet Caporal 150 Factory 30 reverse is a rich, dark red. MINIMUM BID: $500
