Vic Willis saw 13 seasons of major league action, winning 249 games and enshrinement in Cooperstown in 1995. He’s shown here in his portrait pose, with the lustrous red background creating excellent contrast with his image. The reverse is a Forest Green Sovereign 350, both verdant and white. 65. 1909-11 T206 Sovereign 460 Zack Wheat (HOF) - PSA EX-MT 6
Zack Wheat was just beginning his big league career when the T206 illustrators captured the young player at sunset on the fields of Brooklyn. Nice, defined corners set off a portrait with an aggressive red inking process apparent. The reverse of this higher grade example features a desirable Sovereign 460 advertisement, with just a couple small foxed spots visible. MINIMUM BID: $400
