sights including the Colosseum , Palatine Hill, the Trevi Fountain , and the Pantheon , and were blown away by their antiquity and monumental scale. They visited the Vatican , marvelled at Michelangelo’s work in the Sistine Chapel , took a tour around St Peter’s and a close look at Michelangelo’s Pietà, and watched the Swiss Guards in their splendid uniforms. In January, a group of 20 Sixth Form students had a great time exploring Dublin with the English department. The two day trip was packed with many interesting activities, including visiting notable sites like the Oscar Wilde statue , Trinity College, Ha’penny Bridge , Dublin Castle , and the National Gallery of Ireland . The trip finished with a visit to Christchurch Cathedral , offering a blend of history and spiritual reflection, as well as the Guinness Storehouse , adding a touch of fun and cultural insight. The girls returned with fond memories and a broader perspective on Dublin’s history and charm. At the time of writing, 28 students and staff are in Tanzania for a three week trip, where they are working with Better
Lives on a project to help the local community. This includes refurbishing buildings, putting in FAITH (Food Always in the Home) vegetable gardens, building pig pens and chicken coops, setting up handwashing facilities, and helping with repairs around the village.
