to Thippanet Market, featuring many arts and crafts stalls, before cycling south to see the hill tribes. Travel along the remains of the city’s ancient walls and visit Muang Mai Market - the city’s largest - where you can enjoy fresh tropical fruit and coconut water. Afterwards, head to Thapae Gate and towards other famous historic landmarks such as Wat Chedi Luang and Three Kings Monument. Enjoy free time in the evening and stay overnight in Chiang Mai. DAY 5: CHIANG RAI AND GOLDEN TRIANGLE After breakfast, head towards Chaing Rai and the Golden Triangle district to see the point where Laos, Myanmar and Thailand meet. En route, stop at Wat Ron Khun, or White Temple, which is a modern exhibit created in the style of a Buddhist temple and features shards of glass that shimmer in the sunlight. Arrive in Chiang Rai and check-in, before visiting Hall of Opium Museum and enjoying the laid-back atmosphere of the city - which is found on the banks of Kok River. Overnight stay in Chiang Rai. DAY 6: GOLDEN TRIANGLE Today, you can choose from a selection of exciting excursions to truly experience the Golden Triangle. These include: spa packages, Spice Spoons cooking school, Elephant Camp - where you can watch the animals bathing and even go trekking with them past rice paddies - or a guided tour of the area with your own car and driver. Overnight in Chiang Rai. DAY 7: DEPART FROM CHIANG RAI Today, enjoy some free time before transferring to Chiang Rai International Airport for your flight home.

DAY 1: ARRIVE IN BANGKOK Land in Bangkok and take a private transfer to your hotel. Today is yours to explore this famously exciting place. Thailand’s capital city offers an interesting combination of old and new; where you can visit historic landmarks, wander through busy markets, and enjoy a contemporary dining scene. Head to a local lounge or karaoke bar before your first overnight stay. DAY 2: BANGKOK This morning, meet your guide at your hotel and begin your tour at the Grand Palace complex, where you can see the revered Emerald Buddha of Wat Phra Kaew. Continue to Wat Po - one of Bangkok’s oldest temples - and enjoy a traditional foot massage before heading back to your hotel. This afternoon, take the ferry to Jim Thompson House for your guided tour around its collection of south-east Asian art, antiques and buildings. Explore the urban maze of Chinatown and its authentic restaurants before returning to your hotel. DAY 3: CHIANG MAI Transfer to Bangkok International Airport for your flight to Chiang Mai. After check-in, travel north and take a ride up to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep - a sacred temple found near the top of Mount Suthep. Built in the 1300s, this is still a working monastery and you can even experience a private blessing and see the chanting monks before returning to your hotel. Head out tonight to Chiang Mai Night Bazaar. Find a variety of stalls selling local goods and designer brands, as well as lively music, street food stalls, and bars. Overnight in Chiang Mai. DAY 4: CHIANG MAI BIKE TOUR Choose the best bike for you and set off into the Wat Sri Suphan district of Chiang Mai - popular for its silver temple. Continue
