DAY 1: ARRIVE IN HANOI Land in Hanoi where you meet your guide and transfer to your hotel. Explore Vietnam’s capital city - known for its colonial architecture and Chinese and French cultural influences. Stroll around traditional streets towards the Hoan Kiem district, which features markets, restaurants and the beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake. Stay overnight. DAY 2: HANOI SIGHTSEEING Visit Hang Be Market before joining your walking tour around Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Visit Hanoi’s first university - Temple of Literature - and head to Vietnam Museum of Ethnology to discover tribal art and relics. DAY 3: MAI CHAU This morning, take a scenic drive to Mai Chau. Found in a peaceful valley, this small town is surrounded by rice paddies. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before cycling through this almost untouched landscape. Overnight stay in Mai Chau. DAY 4: MAI CHAU EXPLORATION Spend this morning trekking with your guide to the village of Bao La. Meet locals and stroll through rice fields before dining on authentic Vietnamese dishes with the villagers for lunch. Continue exploring before your final overnight stay in Mai Chau. DAY 5: HANOI Enjoy a walk around Mai Chau before driving back to Hanoi. Spend the rest of today visiting landmarks including: Hỏa Lò Prison, Trấn Quốc Pagoda, St. Joseph’s Cathedral, and Hanoi Opera House. Choose from Vietnamese and French-style restaurants for dinner before your overnight stay. DAY 6: HA LONG BAY Leave Hanoi by private vehicle and drive towards Ha Long Bay - a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring coves and uninhabited islands. After arriving at lunchtime, board your cruise boat for an overnight voyage, which includes a menu of fresh seafood for lunch and dinner. DAY 7: HA LONG BAY TO HOI AN Cruise by limestone pillars featuring caves and arches in Ha Long Bay before you transfer to the airport for your flight to Hoi An. Your local driver greets you on arrival and takes you to your hotel in Hoi An - a city renowned for its canals and old town district.

DAY 8: TRA QUE VILLAGE AND HOI AN Visit the local market before heading to Tra Que village. Here, you watch a cooking class hosted by a local chef and take a bike ride before returning to Hoi An. Explore the shops and monuments of Hoi An’s old town district on a guided tour before dinner. DAY 9: HOI AN Today, experience Hoi An at your leisure. See Japanese merchant houses and ancient tea warehouses or find wildlife and woodcarving shops on Cam Kim Island. Visit Phuoc Lam Pagoda and 17th-century Quan Cong Temple, or relax on one of Hoi An’s beaches before your final overnight stay. DAY 10: HOI CHI MINH CITY Enjoy some free time before your airport transfer. Land in Ho Chi Minh City, where your driver takes you to your central hotel. This city offers a mix of malls, temples, boutiques, restaurants, and skyscrapers. Visit the energetic Ben Thanh Night Market before your overnight stay. DAY 11: CU CHI TUNNELS Take your private vehicle to the 120km- long tunnel network of Củ Chi, which was used during the Vietnam War for housing, transportation and launching attacks. Descend into the tunnels to experience the harsh conditions before returning to Ho Chi Minh City for lunch and free time. DAY 12: MEKONG DELTA Travel from Ho Chi Minh City to Bến Tre on the south coast. View local life on bike and rowing boat rides before lunch. This afternoon, take a motorboat along Ba Lai River and visit a coconut coir workshop. Head back to Ho Chi Minh City. DAY 13: PHU QUOC Enjoy free time before transferring for your flight to Phu Quoc. Found in the Gulf of Thailand, you can enjoy: snorkelling, kayaking, jungle treks, and visits to pearl farms. Visit Suoi Da Ban - a white-water creek, enjoy a drink from a beachside bamboo hut, and dine on fresh seafood at Duong Dong - the island’s main town.
