DAY 1: ARRIVE IN SIEM REAP Land at Siem Reap Airport and transfer to your hotel. Relax in the afternoon and explore this north Cambodian town. DAY 2: SIEM REAP Meet with your guide in the morning for a full-day tour. Walk the UNESCO World Heritage site of Angkor and discover the spectacular Angkor Wat temple, the largest religious monument in the world. Next, visit the ‘Great City’ of Angkor Thom with its famous Bayon temple featuring 54 striking towers and 216 smiling Buddha faces. Stay overnight at the hotel. DAY 3: SIEM REAP Today, spend time in Kompong Khleang on Tonlé Sap Lake. This remote floating village offers breathtaking views of the surrounding floodplains and rice fields. Enjoy a boat ride through the canals and return to the village for a picnic lunch in a villager’s home. In the evening, discover Siem Reap’s lively nightlife and stay overnight. DAY 4: BATTAMBANG Travel to Battambang and experience this charming town on a rickshaw ride, passing elegant French colonial houses and pretty riverside cafés. Stop at a local villager’s home and help make traditional rice pancakes, then visit the 11th-century Wat Ek Phnom Temple. Arrive back at the hotel in the late afternoon and enjoy some free time to explore further. Overnight in Battambang. DAY 5: BATTAMBANG Today, enjoy an off-the-beaten-track cycling tour. Ride along waterfront paths and pass traditional houses that have been unchanged for generations, vast rice paddies and workshops making the local sticky rice. Visit the hilltop Prasat Banon Temple in the afternoon, before returning to the hotel. DAY 6: PHNOM PENH Take a scenic drive through the countryside on the way to Phnom Penh. See the impressive passing scenery of rice fields and sugar palms before stopping at the large fishing village of Kompong Luong. See the floating village from a different view on board a boat cruise, then travel on to Kampong Chhnang for lunch at a local restaurant. Stay overnight in Phnom Penh.

DAY 7: PHNOM PENH Today discover Cambodia’s capital city. See the ancient Wat Phnom pagoda and visit the National Museum to discover traditional Khmer art and religious artefacts. Continue to Royal Palace and view the gleaming Silver Pagoda which features five tonnes of genuine silver. Stroll the vibrant Tuol Tumpoung market for a great selection of fabric, jewellery, and handcrafted homewares. Sample the region’s famous street food and lively nightlife before returning to the hotel. DAY 8: KOH DACH AND PHNOM PENH Embark on your cruise to the small island of Koh Dach. Sitting on the banks of the Mekong River and relatively isolated from Phnom Penh, this is where you discover rural Cambodia. Renowned for its quality silk production, meet local weavers as you explore the countryside by bike. Stop for lunch with a Khmer family before cruising back to Phnom Penh for the night. DAY 9: KEP After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, leave for Kep. Formerly a French colonial beach resort, this minute coastal province in southern Cambodia is renowned for its fresh seafood and tropical islands. Sample the catch of the day as you laze on a beach or dine in welcoming waterfront restaurants. Overnight in Kep. DAY 10: KEP Enjoy the full day to explore the area at your own pace. Discover the area’s rich nature on a trip to Kep National Park. Hire a bike or follow the ‘Stairway to Heaven’ trail through the jungle to reach the hilltop pagoda and the Sunset Rock viewpoint. Return to the hotel for the night. DAY 11: KEP Discover some of Kep’s surrounding islands on a relaxing boat trip. Koh Tonsay - known as Rabbit Island - is just 25 minutes away and with no cars or electricity, it provides the perfect getaway from busy island life. Relax on the beach which is lined with coconut palms and comfortable hammocks, before returning to your hotel for the final night of your tour. DAY 12: DEPART FROM KEP Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before your transfer to Phnom Penh Airport for your flight home.
