before exploring Shwezigon Pagoda - built in the 11th century. Cycle to Ku Byauk Gyi to see Jātaka murals, and Bu Lei Thee Pagoda for views of the Bagan plains before lunch. This afternoon, drive to Myinkaba to visit traditional lacquer and wood workshops. View Gu Byaukgyi, Manuha and Nanpaya Temples, before travelling to Myazedi Pagoda. See seated Buddhas at Sulamani Temple before your final overnight stay in Bagan. Heho. After a short drive, arrive at Nyaung Shwe - the gateway village to the lake, and stop at Shwe Yan Pyay teak monastery to see intricate wood carvings. Sail across the picturesque Inle Lake on a private motorboat and view the floating villages and scenic hills. Witness traditional crafts on the lakeside and visit Nga Hpe Chaung Monastery, filled with ancient Shan Buddha images. Relax on your return boat trip before an overnight stay. DAY 7: KHAUNG DAING After breakfast at the hotel, travel to Khaung Daing on the western shores of Inle Lake. This laid-back village is where you can see the local Intha people and capture a sense of their daily life. Sample fresh tofu and fried beans in family-run workshops then walk to a sheltered pagoda on the hillside. Take a gentle stroll uphill before cycling to Nyaung Shwe, stopping at various lakeside spots to see indigenous Intha fisherman along the way. DAY 6: HEHO AND INLE LAKE Transfer to the airport for your flight to

DAY 1: ARRIVE IN YANGON Land in Yangon, where you meet your guide and driver before transferring to the hotel. After check-in, your afternoon is free to explore. Former capital city, Yangon, is still the country’s largest and most commercially- important metropolis with a selection of stunning colonial and religious buildings. See the bronze Buddha and turtle pond of Botataung Paya and the gardens and fountains of People’s Park before enjoying a spicy curry dish for dinner. Stay overnight. DAY 2: YANGON CITY TOUR This morning, you’re transferred to the central station where you board the “Circle Train”, which travels around the city’s border. Take a short trishaw ride from Kyee Myin Daing to view local life before visiting three colourful markets featuring banana, coconut, sugar cane, and metal craft stalls. After traditional tea and food from Lucky Seven, explore the diamonds and gold leaf of Shwedagon Pagoda where you find monks in traditional robes and aromatic incense. See the city’s largest Chinese temple - Kheng Hock Keong - in Chinatown before your final night in Yangon. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Mandalay. On arrival meet your guide for your trip to Kuthodaw Pagoda - famous for its marble slabs engraved with Buddhist teachings. Then, see Shwenandaw Monastery, which was part of the royal palace and still features remarkable woodcarvings. In the afternoon, visit the silk-weaving workshop and Mahagandayon Monastery of Amarapura. At sunset, board a local boat and see the famous U Bein Bridge - built in 1782 across Taungthaman Lake - before heading back to Mandalay for the night. DAY 4: BAGAN SIGHTSEEING After breakfast, fly to Bagan where you meet your guide and start exploring the culture of the city. Enjoy panoramic views and a variety of architectural designs from between the 9th and 14th centuries as you travel to a selection of stunning temples - including the beautiful Ananda Temple. Next, drive to the jetty and take a private boat down the Irrawaddy River. See traditional villages and local fisherman at work before disembarking and heading back to your hotel in Bagan. DAY 5: BAGAN BIKING TOUR Today starts with a bike tour. Visit Nyaung U Market for stalls of fruit, flowers and textiles DAY 3: MANDALAY SIGHTSEEING AND SUNSET BOAT TRIP
