PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS
The new public lobby will have direct access to multiple private Citizen Report rooms that will allow the public to give statements in a confidential environment. New dedicated private offices and open work areas will allow for increase in department staff. Private interview rooms along with collaborative conference spaces will allow for simultaneous activities throughout the Department. New double wide vehicle Sally Port will provide direct access to secure parking area.
Current lobby is small and does not have private report room.
DEPARTMENT WORK AREAS
Personnel have exceeded current office spaces & do not have space for growth in personnel. Inadequate space for Detective Bureau day-to- day operations. Disruptions during phone interviews and case review.
