Ten Fecks To Give

further note

Dearest Reader,

Many women at Hola Sober have not taken the traditional route to recovery as it is not a one-size-fits-all approach, and everyone's journey to sobriety is unique. There are many different paths to recovery, and what works for one person may not work for another. I created Hola Sober to meet a need in the sober space for a non- monetised space for women acting as a. modern alternative to the traditional routes that were not working for them. I wrote the Hola Sober pledge to give myself something to recite daily and am always open to ideas to help consolidate our sobriety. When Maria MacKenty one of the host leadership team asked me to draw up a set of core principles for Hola Sober, I agreed and the result is what I call, The Covenant. Thank you to Linda McGrath-Redmond and Maria for reviewing the document. Hola Sober takes a multifaceted approach that incorporates a range of guiding principles to help women achieve sustained sobriety and I am pleased to share The Covenant with you. While this is a personal contract between you and yourself and not legally binding, I hope it becomes a powerful tool that can help women stay focused on their goals and support each other in their recovery journeys. Please feel free to join me as I look skyward to say not today lady, not today.

Lots of love,

Susan Christina Creamer
