Future Tech in Hall 14: From Innovation to Impact This year marks the debut of Future Tech, a new destination in Hall 14 that brings IBC’s latest innovations to life – from AI and virtual production to ultra-low latency connectivity and the next generation of media talent. Attendees can explore demos, panel sessions and hands-on workshops across dedicated stages and all-new features – each designed to translate innovation into real action.

The Accelerator Media Innovation Programme

Now firmly established as one of the industry’s leading collaborative R&D frameworks, you can find the Accelerator Zone in hall 14. This year’s cohort includes projects tackling ultra-low latency streaming at scale, AI assistance in live production environments, content authentication via C2PA, and cloud orchestration for remote workflows. Other PoCs explore agentic AI, generative content frameworks, and sustainability in live cloud streaming, including the next phase of the hugely successful ECOFLOW initiative. These projects are presented live on the showfloor, offering a unique opportunity for visitors to explore cutting-edge ideas with the teams behind them. Participants include tech leaders from some of the industry’s biggest brands, including the BBC, Comcast, Globo, Google, OBS, ITV, AP and many more – all united by a shared commitment to solving practical problems through collaborative innovation.
