We at the Playwrite Group are very excited to launch our new range of quality toys made using Bioplastic. Sometimes referred to as bio-based plastics, they are commonly made from biomass. Seasonal plant based resources, such as straw or the sugars in corn starch and sugar cane being the predominant source. This process massively reduces the need for the fossil fuels used in traditional plastic manufacturing. They also have a much better carbon footprint, for example when the crops are grown for use in production of Bioplastic they actually absorb carbon and produce oxygen.This negates the carbon produced when they are recycled. The end result is a premium product that is robust, durable, safe and less harmful to the environment. This can only be good for the longer term future of our planet.
