Lora Murphy MCIPPdip, CIPP Editor I’m Lora and if I’m not busy working on this very magazine or filming podcast episodes, you’ll find me with my children, my dog and my other half. Family life is really important to me and spending time with my nearest and dearest is my favourite way to unwind when I’m not at work. We love jetting away on holiday together and have most recently been to Dubai, Thailand and Malta. I also love music and going to gigs. I often get teased, as my favourite bands are The Smiths and The Cure, and I know they’re not everyone’s cup of tea. Hi, I’m Ahmet. If I’m honest, payroll wasn’t something I planned to work in, I sort of fell into the industry. But since joining the CIPP, I’ve realised just how important pay professionals are. Every payslip demands so much expertise and the work is far more complex and impactful than many people realise. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me outdoors. I’m into hiking and bouldering, and I try to get out hiking or bouldering every weekend. I’m looking forward to sharing more about my journey in the payroll industry and learning from this community along the way.
