Neck pain can be the result of a trauma, such as a motor vehicle accident or a fall, or it may develop gradually without any known underlying cause. Additionally, if you have had a recent trauma such as amotor vehicle accident, fall, or have had something hit you in the head, we recommend you go to the emergency department or see your physician to rule out any serious injury such as a fracture or a concussion.
